
Taiwanese pop princess, Jolin Tsai has emerged as the winner for the Best Music Video in the 2012 MTV Trends Chart.
2012 MTV Trends Chart is organised by MTV Taiwan and attracted over ten thousands of fans to vote. While everyone expect that PSY’s Gangnam Style will take away the Best Music Video, it is Jolin who nabs the award for The Great Artist <大藝術家> Music Video. Jolin won the award by 605 votes, whereas PSY only took in 30 votes.
Netizens decided to cast their votes to Jolin instead as they had already “got sick of the Gangnam Style music video”. Netizens praised Jolin for her “professional and astonishing stunts” in the music video.
In addition, Jolin also beat Lady Gaga, Hyuna, Rihanna to be conferred the Most Mesmerizing Eyes award.
However, Jolin lost out to S.H.E. in the Mandarin pop category.
