After disclosing about her new romance recently, Vivian Hsu was bombarded with millions of questions about her new beau at the premier of her new movie, Rhythm of the Rain <聽見下雨的聲音>.
When asked why she had openly admitted to her relationship, Vivian said, “I have been hiding over the past 20 years. I feel that I am already 38 and ought to have a healthy mentality to deal with the next phase of my life.”
Vivian also spoke about how she craved to date like a normal couple.
“I hope to have a simple life and yet be low key about it. We will still dine out and watch a movie together whether there is a paparazzi or not,” said Vivian.
Asked if she had gone on a date openly without being caught, Vivian evaded the question, but shared that her beau had met her parents already.
Revealing that they “have just started”, Vivian refused to talk about the identity of her boyfriend. However, she let slip that her boyfriend may be closely related to the entertainment industry.
She praised her boyfriend for being filial, having a good character, a family man, having a discipline lifestyle and has a strong passion for music and movies.
“I met someone who knows me well. As I am a performing artiste, my other half has to be someone who loves music and movies as well.”
Asked if her boyfriend is someone from the showbiz, a comical Vivian took out a stalk of rose and hit it at the reporter.
She begged the reporter from further interrogation, “Please give me some privacy. You ask him yourself if there is a chance.”
