33-year-old Bosco Wong have admitted that he is currently dating the 38-year-old model, Vanessa Yeung. However, Hong Kong media seems to suggest that Vanessa is lying about her age.

Rumours have been circulating that Vanessa’s actual age is 42 and she is in fact 9 years older than Bosco. So just how old is Vanessa - 38 or 42?

According to Ming Pao, Vanessa was introduced into the modelling line in 1994, back 20 years ago. She once expressed that she had studied Business Administration at Lingnan University of Hong Kong. Vanessa’s name was found in the 1994 graduates’ list, so it means that she pursued her university degree for three years when she was 19, and graduated at the age of 22.

If Vanessa is in the modelling career for 20 years, she should be 42 this year.

Many reporters who are graduates of the Lingnan University have heard of Vanessa back then as she was the campus’ beauty. Hence, many of them testified that she has passed the age of 40.

Vanessa said that she respected the netizens’ opinions and their doubts about her age, but felt that there wasn’t a need to clarify.

Meanwhile, Bosco defended his girlfriend and said, “These are our private matters. Age is not an important factor. What matters most is what kind of person she is.”

Asked if he was worried that Vanessa will be too old for pregnancy, Bosco said, “It’s too soon to talk about it! As long as I think how old is she, she will be that age. There is no need to account to everyone.”
