Following the breakup with Tiffany Tang, Roy Chiu has hit the headlines for the wrong reasons again.

Tabloids recently published a nude photo of Roy in his younger days. In the photo, Roy’s hands were tied and he knelt down with a leg to cover his genital area.

Well-known for his gentleman and prince charming roles, netizens were shocked to see his nude photo. He was also mocked for bearing resemblance to a Japanese porn star, Yoshiya Minami.

Roy’s manager has clarified that the photo was taken in 2006 for a charitable cause. The photo was taken by renowned photographer, Leslie Kee in a celebrities’ nude photo collection for the South Asian Tsunami disaster.

Roy’s manager said, “The photo is for a charitable cause but it is being interpreted negatively. The person who twisted the story behind the photo has a problem in his mind.”
