Injecting local flavour into the parody music video of “Gangnam Style,” Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健)and Leo Ku’s (古巨基) fun project has received overwhelming reviews from fans and media. Even the Korean media reported that the version comes as close as the original PSY’s version.

Named as “Hong Kong style,” the music video cast Wilson Chin (钱国伟) as the lead rapper. The familiar Hong Kong scenes such as the tram, subway, buying lottery tickets were all included into the MV.

To fulfill Wilson’s dream of becoming a star, Ekin and Leo got together in this project. They even approached their friends like Eric Tsang (曾志偉), JJ Jia (賈曉晨), Jerry Lamb (林曉峰) and Chin Kar Lok (錢嘉樂) to appear in the MV.
Although the project costs around a few thousand dollars and two weeks to complete, the Korean media is very impressed with it. Korean report praised Wilson for bearing close resemblance to PSY and the MV was almost identical to the original version.
The report also introduced Eric Tsang and Ekin Cheng, whose popularity surged in Korea.
