Jolin Tsai and her boyfriend, Vivian Dawson were spotted on a date on the first day of Lunar New Year. The couple attracted the attention of the waiters and patrons when they were dining with two other male friends at an American western food restaurant.
Appearing like a docile girlfriend, the pop diva sat quietly by her boyfriend’s side when he chatted with his friends. Jolin only occasionally whispered into Vivian’s ears.
The three men ordered a table full of food, whereas Jolin only ordered a French onion soup worth NT$180. She also conversed in English with the two friends. When the bill came, the couple reportedly went on dutch and paid for what they had ordered.
It was not the first time that Jolin and Vivian were spotted going on dutch during their dates. When the couple was photographed at a night market, they also paid for what they had ordered.
Responding to Jolin’s meal gathering, her manager said, “Maybe it was to accommodate for the overseas friends’ habit of going on dutch”. Her manager also said that Jolin would normally treated her friends during meals.
