Laurinda Ho, daughter of the late Stanley Ho announced yesterday that she would close her beef noodle shop in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, she has to close her shop due to a drop in business revenue and high rental.

Through Instagram, Laurinda said she had tried introducing different promotional discounts, but as the numbers of customers reduced significantly and with the high rental fee, the earnings were not enough to sustain.

Although she had closed her Mong Kok branch, the Causeway Bay branch remains in operation. She said, “Once again, I am sorry. We will meet again the next time.”

Laurinda’s family has been under the public spotlight recently. Her father, Stanley Ho passed away on May 26, 2020, and her brother Orlando Ho was involved in a cheating scandal, and he had admitted divorcing with his wife.
