Ruco Chan won the Most Popular TV Male Character at the TVB Anniversary Awards last Sunday.
As a hot favourite for TV King award, Ruco eventually lost to veteran actor, Anthony Wong. During an interview, Ruco said that he was not disappointed and was convinced of the results.
“I am very happy being nominated together with Anthony. Many people said I had very high votes, but everyone understood that it would not be fair to the actors with very good acting skills if the results just depended on votes. I feel that it is fair. I admit defeat to the Lord of Shanghai <梟雄>. If the company can arrange for us to work with these veteran actors every year, it’s our blessings.”
Ruco thanked his father during his thank up speech. When asked how had his father influenced him, Ruco said, “There’s no need to say between men.”
Asked if he had thought about marriage, Ruco said, “I did think about it, but let me win all the awards first!”
After the interview, Ruco went to thank his fans who had waited outside the TVB City for him, and celebrated his win with them.
