After dating Taiwanese pop princess Jolin Tsai (蔡依林), Vivian Dawson’s salary increases tremendously!
Besides receiving endless commercial endorsements, the New Zealand model has also switched his modelling career into filming dramas and movies. He was starred in “Double Trouble” (宝岛双雄), alongside with Jacky Chan’s son, Jacyee Chan (房祖名). Recently, he also filmed his first mainland drama.
Implying that he missed his girlfriend while filming in mainland, Vivian said, “I prefer to film in Taiwan. I feel more comfortable there as I have friends in Taiwan, but I have gotten used to filming in mainland.”
When praised for his vast improvement in Chinese, Vivian let out in laughter and said, “It’s passable. When I just reached Chengdu, my Chinese is not that good. As I have to spend a month in Chengdu, I have no choice but to practise my Chinese everyday. Hence, there is improvement and I hope that I have improved too.”
As Vivian is currently endorsing a mobile phone brand, he has bought 2 phones himself. Asked if one of them is a gift for Jolin, Vivian paused for a long while and replied, “Hmm…….. I am thinking… I am thinking.”
